Destiny 2 - Forsaken Gambit Preview

Previewing Gambit on the free weekend 9/1/2018.

I enjoyed and hated this new game mode, here's my thoughts.

I'm skeptical on what the balancing of this new game mode will do to the PVE sandbox in the future, I feel like our overall power will be nerfed to keep boss melting in check for this new game mode.

I don't like that this game mode is a best of 3 rounds, I don't feel like this is a game mode that should be round based. I feel like they should extend the motes from 75 to 100 and make it a single round game.

I feel starved of ammo in this mode, often when the primeval spawns I have just a clip of heavy that I have to use to kill invaders and damage the boss with. I never seem to have energy ammo and once power/heavy ammo is gone i'm left shooting the boss with primary. FeelsBadMan.

Teammates seem to just swoop in and steal motes after I kill ads, worse the teammates hold onto the motes and don't deposit them and end up dying with them grieving the team.
