Dr. Akhileswaran, a former oncologist and now a palliative care specialist, as a part of his job, He cares for dying and terminally-ill patients. In this inspirational talk, he shares the greatest life-lessons he learnt from some of his patients, who defied conventional medical science's prediction about their death and managed to live way beyond.

Dr Akhilesh - the Medical Director of HCA Hospice Care, Singapore’s largest home hospice service. He has close encounters with the unpredictability of life and death on a daily basis - he has been practising palliative medical care for the dying, for the last 14 years.
