Can Joel Kill a Bloater Fists Only in The Last of Us?

With the Last of Us 2 freshly being delayed, I thought I'd put a little bit of happiness into everyone's lives by diving back into TLOU. The Last of Us is definitely my favourite game of all time, and you guys all know how much I love Resident Evil.
In this video, I try to defeat a bloater using nothing else but my fists. At one point I try kicking the bloater and at other times I throw a baseball bat into the mix, but in the end what I'm trying to find out is if Joel can defeat the bloater with just his fists.
Let's hope we hear some good news these next few weeks with the Last of Us 2, because as I've said many times, I'm going to do a full gameplay/playthrough of TLOU2 when it comes out. Ellie and Joel are looking pretty awesome in the new game.
