Cape to Cairo -- by trains. 2018.

In 2018 I travelled solo on the classic Cape Town to Cairo route using trains as much as possible (currently about 70% of the route). Along the way I interview people on each train on subjects ranging from cross-border trade to Chinese influence. Made on a shoestring budget, alone, with a camcorder and no tripod.
