In comic books, the Devil comes in many a form. Whether that’s Marvel’s very direct interpretation, Mephisto, or one of the slew of sinister demons that have crept into the DC universe, all of these malevolent supernatural forces have at one point or another attempted to lure virtuous superheroes into striking up a deal in order to get what they want, or, quite commonly, help the greater good.
