Another day, another model build. What's up everyone, Jbookie and I am back with yet another creation from my bench. In this video I will be building, painting, and "tastefully" weathering a Zvezda T14 Armata, in 1/72nd scale. This is a beautiful kit, as is to be expected with most of the Zvezda line.

The T14 Armata is a next generation main battle tank (MBT) which is beginning to enter initial service (in limited quantities) with the Russian Armed Forces. The tank was built around survival of the crew in mind, which is comprised of a driver, gunner, and commander. The turret of this vehicle is unique in that the entire assembly is a remote housing that is not staffed with crew. The crew is located in the front of the vehicle under the turret in an armored capsule and completely separate from the rest of the vehicle.

If you have any doubt about buying a new Zvezda kit, don't. Great value, excellent detail, good fit, and a load of subjects make this company one of my go to choices for both 1/35th and 1/72nd scale. I was able to pick up this T14 Armata kit for a little over $20 U.S.
