Why Didn't Aayla Secura Wear Traditional Jedi Clothing?

Aayla Secura is one of the few Jedi to do away with the Jedi robes in favour of more revealing clothing. However, she actually did this for a very good reason. Twileks were one of the most popular slave races and many were used as entertainers for crime syndicates against their will. Sadly, many looked down upon the species because of this. Secura hoped to break these harmful stereotypes, donning the clothing of Twilek entertainer even though she was a Jedi. She hoped this would inspire young Twilek girls who would see that just because they were twileks didn't mean they couldn't be successful.
