ART NIGHT IN CASINO: AUSTRALIA OUTREACH

Since I arrived at YWAM, I've been developing my ability to hear from God. Now I'm on my outreach phase and I feel I hear from God every day. He speaks to me in familiar ways, and in new and unexpected ways. The idea to host an Art Night in Casino was one of the unfamiliar ways. I was just on my phone and suddenly I got a pictures of our Outreach team and some older women making cards and smiling. I told the team about it and they were all for the idea, and they made it all happen. It was one of my favorite ministry times so far during our outreach; partly because it was such a nice time of fellowship, but also because it was a time that I got an idea from God, and I followed through with the help of me teammates. I get random ideas all the time, but I don't usually do them. But it feels so good to say "yes" to God and watch as He blesses the situation.
