How To Make Your Own Almond Nut Butter Spread At Home | Dairy and Gluten-Free Recipe
If anyone EVER tells you, you put too much peanut butter or any nut butter on your bread, tell them you don’t need that type of negativity in your life!! #justsayin'

As a mum and a chef I always, like ALWAYS brought a jar of nut butter for home, and in like 3 days it was an empty jar. “Cheese and Rice” AKA Jesus Christ...LOL. And just like that, I was buying yet another jar of nut butter. Imagine the jars I had collected over the years...Well, the time has passed and I got my BIG girl pants on and I decided I was going to make my own nut butter. I always thought you had to add oil and other isms to make an epic creamy smooth decadent nut butter….

...well ya don’t!!

𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦
600 grams Raw Almonds

𝗠𝗘𝗧𝗛𝗢𝗗
Heat your oven to 160 C.
Line a tray with baking paper and add the almonds.
Bake in the oven for 20 minutes until lightly roasted.
Allow the almonds to cool down.
Transfer the almonds to a blender and blend until smooth.
Scoop into a jar and store and that's it!

Prep time: 1-2 minutes
Cooking time: 20-30 minutes depending on your oven.
Serves: Makes 600 grams
Freezer friendly: No need, it will sit on a shelf for months
