Sensory Tornado in a Bottle | Crafternoons with the PMA
Exploring forces of motion or looking for a sensory way to calm down, this tornado in a bottle is a quick activity that uses items from around the house!
You Will Need:
A water bottle (try to use one from the recycling!)
Dish Soap
Food Colouring
Glitter
Instructions:
(1) Pour out a splash of water from your bottle and add a couple drops of dish soap (don't add too much or you won't be able to see your tornado in action!)
(2) Now add a couple drops of your favourite colour of food colouring
(3) Also add a sprinkle of glitter so your tornado can sparkle!
(4) Put the lid on really tight and you're ready to go! Shake your bottle in a circular motion to create the tornado affect and watch it go!
