The day we caught up with Margaret Ann Dodd, she was driving the massive combine through a field of corn. She and her husband own Springfield Farm in Queen Anne’s County and have worked there for almost 60 years! The nation has lots of hard working women like her, but the data hasn’t always reflected that accurately. Ginger Harris from the National Agricultural Statistics Service explains how new changes to the National Census of Agriculture help recognize more women—like Margeret Ann Dodd—for their contributions on America’s farms.
