Liquor Cabinet with Fold Down Bar - Wall Unit DIY Build Series

After having completed the record player cabinet, the next piece of the wall unit I built was the liquor cabinet (says a lot about my priorities!).

The wall unit has been a pretty ambitious build project, and this particular section ended up being the most challenging of the lot. The pull-down bar table, and adding in triggered LED lighting both presented a fair few challenges. Mistakes I made along the way had me wanting to give up on it, but I pushed through that and am very happy with the end result.

The cabinet was built out of birch plywood (all visible pieces painted green), and spotted gum veneered birch plywood, finished with hardwax oil.

I have actually finished the rest of the wall unit aside from attaching it to the wall... so keep an eye out for the other sections up on the channel in the coming weeks.
