Is "being single" a vocation?

If you are single, does this mean it's your "vocation" to be single? But what if you are discerning and looking into other vocations? Does that mean at present you have no actual vocation? Lots of discussion with Fr Stephen about all the possible meanings (or not) of the vocation to the single life.
