#28 2017 Aviat Husky A1-C | The Backcountry Workhorse

This week we got to fly my customers 2017 Aviat Husky A1-C. It was a relatively short flight from Fullerton (KFUL) to Long Beach (KLGB) even with the little detour, however it was a great opportunity to get some video and show you this great airplane.
Backcountry flying is something I'd really enjoy doing if I had the time but for now I have to keep it in the busy SoCal airspace.
This Aviat Husky A1-C comes with a carbureted 180-HP Lycoming 0-360-A1P engine. It's designed for the backcountry and short grass/dirt/gravel strips. It's an excellent hauler for it's size with almost 925 lbs of useful load. The airplane is pretty simple to fly and just a lot of fun since you fly it low and slow. I hope I can take one out in the country some day and have some fun with it!
