News 30 - 331 BC l The Uncle of Alexander the Great gives Geography lessons in Italy

The King of Epirus, Alexander I is giving a lecture on why learning Geography is important! Our WiN'R reporter is transported to South Italy in a dream with his black cat, Miau Cattus. Anglus and Miau are there to hear in person the King who speaks from his experience. So watch this segment of our report to known what the King will say. Just an information, Alexander I, King of Epirus is the uncle of Alexander the Great, being the brother of his mother, Olympias. He is also a brother in law because the half sister of Alexander the Great, Cleopatra is married to Alexander I of Epirus. According to Livy, Alexander I was successful in his battles in Italy. He defeated the Samites and he conquered many towns and cities like Consentia, Terina, Lucania, Bruttium, Heraclea, Sipontum. Unfortunately, he was assassinated by one of his Lucanian guards.
