SA government extends the special COVID-19 social relief grant
The government has extended the special COVID-19 social relief grant for a further three months until the end of January. Social Development Minister Lindiwe Zulu announced that thirteen point five billion rand has been distributed to more than six million eligible beneficiaries to date.
Zulu was speaking during a media briefing in Pretoria on social relief measures to mitigate COVID-19 pandemic.
