In this video entitled "Tools and Materials for the Watercolor Sketching," I discuss the watercolor painting supplies that I bring with me when sketching outdoors or traveling. In an effort to travel light, my outdoor watercolor sketching set-up represents a compacted version of my studio painting setup while providing all the necessary equipment to comfortably sketch in watercolor in an outdoor wilderness environment. The video focuses on a discussion of paintbrushes, sketchpad, drawing tools, painting palettes and an assortment of miscellaneous supplies including convenient methods for carrying water, and an introduction to the colors that I take with me. This video can serve as a supply list for outdoor watercolor sketching.
