Draining a parking lot flood

This last Saturday morning there was large puddle that had formed in a doctors office parking lot. The water was almost a foot deep and small cars could not go through it. I saw cars going around the other side of the island to get to the rear parking lot of the building. This was early in the morning so later on that day it would have started causing issues if it hadn't been drained. It was caused by some construction mesh netting that was put there to stop sand from getting into it. This was during the weekend after they were done Paving. They wouldn't be back to finish they're Paving until the following Monday. I found a sharp wooden stick that was used to Mark curbs for the snow plow in the winter to break holes through it and drain the puddle. This was an unexpected thing to find since the rain at Stop hours before. The next Monday they finished the paving work. This is the reason at the beginning of the video you could see the drain that was elevated above the water because the second layer of asphalt wasn't yet put down. Thanks for watching
