Today I give a little tour of my first villa I stayed at before leaving Canggu. I ended up staying at a place called Rimba Bird Guesthouse. Which it turns out, is also home to a songbird farm. The owner of the villa is also a songbird enthusiast. I had no idea birds and particularly singing birds were such a craze in Indonesia. They can sell for big bucks, sometimes thousands of dollars for a single bird. The competitions are very intense too from what I understand. I was told that sometimes the grand prize can be as high as $50,000. Also, as I'm showing you guys the songbird farm, a local bakso food vendor stopped by the villa. Bakso is an Indonesian dish made up of meatballs or meat past, made from beef surimi. Some of the other ingredients include salted vegetables,
