Elderly woman rescued from danger in Ukraine with unmanned vehicle

An elderly woman was spotted in a dangerous area by Ukrainian drone operators and taken to safety with the help of an unmanned vehicle last week in the Lymanske region.

The woman was walking on crutches from the frontline area to the rear along a dangerous section of the road that is under constant fire.

To avoid frightening the woman, the drone was covered with a blanket alongside a note that read: "Grandma, sit down!"

The 77-year-old was successfully transported to safety.
