How To Get a Balanced Mix Every Time | Mixing Tutorial

If you've ever had issues with achieving a good tonal balance, I sincerely hope the content in this video helps you! Let me just make a quick side note too: You don't always want to mix strictly in mono, you also want to mix in stereo, but it's usually a good idea to start with mono to help balance your initial levels, then switch to stereo for effects like reverb and delay.

There are no rules for mixing, and you might not always want to start like this for some genres such as classical or orchestral due to the massive stereo field in those types of songs. Also, try to avoid mixing primarily with your eyes, but more so with your ears! Regardless, I hope this gives you a great guideline to streamline your mixes!
