“Oh get out of my way! You are so annoying!”

“That girl is so nasty.” I said to my best friend Kath. “I can’t understand why Brad is dating her.”

“I know, what’s wrong with her? She really seems to have it in for you!” Kath replied.

Susie had always been a bit mean, but since she had started dating Brad she seemed to have gotten worse. I tried to stay out of her way as much as possible, but sometimes it was unavoidable. Luckily we didn’t have many classes together, I usually only saw her at break and lunchtime.

I was waiting in the queue in the school cafeteria when I saw Susie walking towards me. I put my head down and looked at the floor, hoping she wouldn’t notice me. As she got closer she suddenly threw her drink all over me, my shirt was soaking wet.

“Oh sorry, didn’t see you there!” She said.

“You did that on purpose!” I shouted at her.

The next thing Brad came walking over to us.

“Are you ok Jasmine?” He asked.

“Your girlfriend just threw her drink all over me.” I told him.

“Don’t listen to her.” Said Susie. “She’s crazy!”

But Brad was having none of it,

“Don’t lie, I saw everything! I’ve just about had enough of your meanness Susie. We’re over! I don’t want anything more to do with you.”

Susie looked at Brad in shock, it took all my effort not to burst out laughing, but I didn’t want to antagonise her any further.

“Come with me Jasmine.” Brad said. “I’ll help you get cleaned up.”

Was this really happening?! I followed Brad out to his locker,

“Here you can use my towel.” He said.

“Thanks for coming to help me, I have no idea what I have done to that girl but ever since you and her started dating she has had it in for me.”
