Today, let's take a time off from cooking and let's repot or replant some wild and neglected Sansevieria or Snake plants from the garden.

Sansevieria, commonly known as Snake plant and Mother in-law's Tongue is included under Dracaena plant which is a genus of about 120 species of trees and succulent shrubs.
For me, this is the best indoor plant not just because of it's classy, and gorgeous appearance but because of it's ability to absorb air pollutants inside our homes or offices.
They are very easy to care for with minimal maintenance, as they can adapt to low light conditions indoors and don't require regular watering. I forgot to mention in the video about how often to water your snakeplants. You just need to poke a stick around its pot and check for moisture, if it's thoroughly dry, then it's time to give them a drink. Do not try to water them if the soil is still moist as they are prone to root rot if over watered. Also, please do rotate your plants once in a while to ensure even distribution of the indirect lighting they're getting.
Snakeplants like any other plants have very small pores on their leaves which they use to exchange gases such as carbon dioxide and oxygen. These pores are mostly open during night time which allow oxygen to be released in the atmosphere which makes these plants ideal to be placed in the bedroom. With that said, why not repot those wild snakeplants just sitting in the corner?😁 And let's enjoy its air-purifying benefit while we stay at home on community quarantine🙏❤️
