First woman IAS to be appointed to CM’s office| Smita Sabharwal | IKN

Smita Sabharwal is the first Woman IAS appointed to the CM’s Office. She secured AIR 4 in her second attempt at the Civil Services Exam in 2000. She was just 22 years old then, becoming one of the youngest IAS officers. Her exemplary work led her to be appointed to the Telangana CMO as Secretary in 2014. Sabharwal is an inspiration for many for the positive changes she implemented in her two-decade service.
