No Compromise Rotating Tower, has 30 cubic meter concreet (1060 cubic feet) Slewing gear at base and Tower lift for antenna's
Slewing mechanism for tower crane:
Liebherr 120HC
The base is 2x2x3mn (lxbxh) using 2x 6,3KW reductors. Only one will be used for rotating the tower. Furthermore, the base will be lowered into concrete for abt. 5 feet.
Y.o.m 1979, Capacity 8.000 kg, Jib length 50 m
S/no.: 26350, Max lift @ Tip (kg): 2.200,
H.u.H: 30m, Base Type: 4.6x4.6 m static base
Considering hydraulic or electrical drive (Planetary Drive) Gearboxes for slew drive of excavators, all kinds of mobile cranes, tower cranes of construction sites, harbour and deck cranes. A large selection of reduction ratios are available for all sizes, along with built-in negative brakes and adaptors for all the most common hydraulic and electric motors.
During a heavy storm, with very exceptional gusts of 120 km/h the150ft Rotating Tower @PA1A collapsed @5th Januari 2012.
I rebuild his one using a Tower Crane base as Rotor and a 130 foot selfsupporting Telecommunication mast.
This Tower has Heavy Duty legs and braces. The construction allows to support more loading and higher wind and ice loading. hot-dip galvanized and solid steel rods
