Alma High School Firefighter Journey Long, Age 18 is laid to rest in Dyer Arkansas W/Last Call (Ep1)

Last Call or Final Alarm begins at 14:50 into this video. EOW (End of Watch) With Radio Call as flag is folded. "Rest In Peace Ma'am. We Have The Watch From Here"

18 Year Old Skyler Journey Breanna Long died on September 24th, 2019. She was a senior at Alma High School Class of 2020 and a Volunteer firefighter with the Dyer Fire Department of Crawford County, Arkansas.

She will be extremely missed by her family, father Jake Long, Mother Michelle Long, Step Dad Kevin Quick, Baby sister Sophia Quick, Older sister Emilea, Brother Colt Long and Brother Jesse Long of the U.S. Navy. Journey will be missed among the Airedale Class of 2020 of Alma High School and by her friends and citizens of Crawford County, Arkansas. She was given Fire Department Honors with a procession from Lewis Funeral Home in Fort Smith, Sebastian County, Arkansas to the Dyer Cemetery in Dyer, Crawford County, through the city of Van Buren, Alma and on to Dyer. Journey Long was born on August 16th, 2001. She was 18.

HistoryDawg Videographers Nikki & Kurt Licari, Robert Coulson, and others capture some of the procession. That footage along with the graveside service was put together by HistoryDawg producer and friend of the family, Brian Baker who also filmed Journey's grandfather's funeral in January just a few months earlier. A large portion of the procession is missing from this video. It was absolutely heartbreaking.

There is now 100% Solid Proof with data showing that Suicide among firefighters is TWICE that of LODD Deaths. The statistic is Alarming !!! This is a National Emergency!!
See it for yourself here in a CBS Study https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gp6Qx9Mv2SM

The investigation into 18 Year Old Journey Long's Death leans towards suicide, although the facts are not 100% known. Unfortunately, suicide in the First-Responder Industry is highly prevalent, a trend that needs to be greatly reversed across this nation and around the world !!! God only knows what was going through her mind. Military members who take their life are given full honors. First-Responders should receive the same. PTSD is REAL !!!

Journey Long appears in her grandfather's Funeral video about 9 months before she died. 2019 was extremely difficult for the family where Michelle Long lost both her father and her daughter in such a short time. At the end of Journey's video above, there is a short scene of Journey in her grandfather's funeral video.
