You Can't Win (Part 1) - Michael Jackson

This song first appeared on the soundtrack album The Wiz but Michael re-recorded it for the single. "Part 1" is a bit of a misnomer because this is the complete song. "Part 2" appeared on the flip side and the 7" single, and it's the second half of the song starting around 3:08.

"Part 2" was then repurposed in 1982 as the b-side of "The Girl Is Mine" single. The music was remixed, the vocal re-recorded and the lyrics changed to "Can't Get Outta The Rain".

Recorded using a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon EVO turntable with Acryl-It platter, record clamp and AT VM540ML cart. All records are cleaned on a VPI 16.5 with Adobe Audition CC used for recording and processing with clicks removed manually.
