** AC/DC is my best friend's favorite band. As soon as I got a request for AC/DC I started tabbing away. As you can see in the beginning, I got a request for three songs, but I picked Problem Child because of those three, that's the one that my friend wanted me to do. I had also recorded this one quite a while ago. It’s finally been unblocked, so I hope you like it!

Let me start off by saying this song took me a while to tab. It was hard to hear the exact rhythm of the notes from cliff. Almost every tab I've seen of this song is very different. Mine is what I was able to hear from the track and figure out from watching videos.
Bon Scott was still with the band.

this video shows cliff fairly well in the beginning, and then goes to focus on Bon. Lets me see the positioning of his hand and generally his plucking pattern. In the intro, he plays the same rhythm as the guitar, but listening to the track, it's tied and not separated.

All the videos I can find of the band have cliff playing the off-beat rhythms as mostly eighth notes, but I really can't hear that throughout. It definitely fits and doesn't sound wrong to do it that way, but it's not what I hear on the original track. I think Cliff probably does it to keep it more interesting and exciting in a live setting (both for himself and for the audience).

Also, in the chorus, it sounds like the cliff is just sitting on the A on the 5th fret of E. The video seems to confirm that he does this instead of following the chord progression. Cliff likes to alternate between the sitting on the root and sitting on the third of chords. I think it's one aspect that helps give them their power and forward motion in their songs.

Around 2:13 in the video, you can see Cliff in the background in the middle of the fretboard, rather than by the 2nd fret

Song comes off of Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap album 1976
Thanks for watching! Enjoy :)
