At the time of recording Brad was three times and reigning national cross country champion, national enduro champion and national number two in the motocross championship. Another Acerbis 4 Hour trophy would be the icing on the cake in his already incredible year of racing. But he had the might of Yamaha New Zealand to contend with, in the form of Paul Whibley and Callan May, who were racing the event as a team and posed a serious threat.
