Algonquin Provincial Park and Algonquin Museum Short Walk: viewing deck, museum, lake view

That's the short video from our last year's visit to Algonquin Provincial Park. In the end of 2020, with travel still restricted and museums closed due to lockdowns, I decided to revisit my collection of photos and videos from previous years and found this one that for some reason was not shared It's shot with a mobile, so no 4K or quality recording... Just some precious moments with nature and history!

Algonquin Provincial Park is a provincial park located between Georgian Bay and the Ottawa River in Ontario, Canada, mostly within the Unorganized South Part of Nipissing District. Established in 1893, it is the oldest provincial park in Canada and one of the most popular. Algonquin Park was named a National Historic Site of Canada in 1992.

We drove to Algonquin from Toronto, and started our visit at the viewing deck with a breathtaking view of Algonquin wilderness, lakes and forests. The first stop we made was at the Algonquin Visitor Center. Though we didn't attend Logging Museum (which is museum and a trail at the same time!) this time, exposition on the Park's natural and human history at the Visitor Center Museum was very interesting too. Old fire fighter cabin near the Center presented us with another take on a wonderful wilderness view.
