I first started lockpicking for the same reason many of us do - discovered it online from one of the big YouTubers. I'd heard about it in passing before but never spent much time looking into it. But I was already looking for a hobby that would pull me away from staring at screens, so I thought I'd give it a shot.

I spent the next couple of weeks doing so much reading in preparation, since I wasn't sure I wanted to take the dive on tools just yet. I've jumped the gun on hobbies before and wasted purchases are not for me. After realizing reading alone was keeping me up until 5 am, I figured it was time to make the jump. I bought my first set and haven't looked back.

Really, I want to say thank you to @DoctorHogmaster for helping me really stay hooked and progressing early on. He provided me with the vise/tool stand you see in my videos and I've had it basically since the beginning. If not for him and the rest of this wonderful community I may not have made as much progress as I have.

Now look at me. I picked a high pin count dimple lock backwards. Never even crossed my mind to try something like this but now that it's happened it, feels sorta surreal. Thanks Greyhound for the challenge, and thank Johnny for giving me a reason to talk about my journey to this point.
