Gary Sinise's F-18 Super Hornet Flight to the USS Theodore Roosevelt in 2017

On #ThrowbackThursday, we go back to 2017 when our Founder & Chairman, Gary Sinise, flew in an F-18 Super Hornet to the USS Theodore Roosevelt. The day before the flight, Gary completed survival training at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, where he also spent some time in the pool learning how to survive in case of a water landing. "Launching off the deck was a tremendous rush. It was a short trip, but a trip I will never forget," said Gary. "Once again, I was let into our military community to visit up close their courage and skill. The pilots are amazing, of course, but hats off also to the men and women who man the decks of our carriers doing the incredibly dangerous work as our fighter jets, cargo planes, and helicopters keep coming in and going out all day long."
