We’re giving away the Oculus Elite Strap and battery with case, which is worth $130 and sold out everywhere. To enter the giveaway, make sure you’re subscribed to our channel and leave a comment on this video. On March 1st, we’ll pick our favorite comment and reply to the winner!

With the Oculus Elite Strap with Battery, you can double your charge to get over 4 hours of game time and up to 6 hours of streaming on a single charge. The elite strap is a significantly more comfortable option than the head strap that comes with the headset and the battery itself is conveniently packed within the back of the strap and has a built in angled USB C cable to plug directly into the headset. Though, one downside is that the battery within the elite strap is smaller at 4,676mAh, giving you less than half of the power of other battery solutions that we reviewed.

The nice thing is that the headset will recognize when the Elite Strap is plugged in and give you a separate battery gauge for your external battery. Third party batteries will only live charge your headset as you use it, constantly showing 100% until the external is drained.

For even more battery life at an affordable price - you can check out the VR Power battery from Rebuff Reality for $59. This option is an enormous 10,000 milliamp hour battery that boasts an additional 6 hours of game time or 8 hours of video streaming. It straps directly to your current head strap and rests towards the back of your head.

Surprisingly, the weight distribution feels very balanced, and after the first few moments you actually forget that there’s an external battery on your head. It also features an additional USB-C port for powering up other accessories.

You can’t check the life of the VR power within the head set, but the battery does have a light gauge that measures life in 25% increments. Rebuff Reality offers different packages, depending on which Quest you are using and which strap you currently have for it. With a very affordable $60 price tag - we think this is a great option to extend your play time!

Last but not least, we have a 3 in 1 Comfort strap with a magnetic battery holder from Amazon. For only $20 bucks, this accessory goes under your existing strap, which not only adds extra comfort but it also has a built in battery holder using magnets that stick on to your battery pack. You can use any existing battery pack you own, and we used an older Anker battery that we had. It holds the battery well and even adds counterbalance to the headset. With our older 10,000mAh Anker battery, it fully charged our Oculus headset twice, adding 4 hours of gameplay on top of the 2 hours with the headset. Unfortunately, this setup seems to only work with the original strap that comes with the Oculus Quest 1 and 2.

For the price point, we think this is a great option, especially if you already have an external battery pack that you can slap on there. For a newer version of the battery, we recommend the Anker Powercore 10,000
