Pretty Lights - The Making of A Color Map of the Sun

After collecting footage from studio sessions across the country with dozens of musicians and vocalists over two years, PLM's creative director Krystle Blackburn and I (Derek Vincent Smith) partnered with VICE - and their electronic music channel, THUMP - to tell the story of "A Color Map of the Sun."

The process by which "A Color Map of the Sun" was made is extremely unique, so I felt it was important people were able to get a glimpse into how it happened. So many people are responsible for helping me turn this massive musical project into a reality. This documentary helps display the amount of talent, vision, and soul that went into making the album.
