Sony FX3 + BMPCC4K?

Let me take you on a 4 minute trip through 7 camera items that i REALLY WANT for 2022. Blackmagic & Sony love.

Blackmagic camera gear the ultimate guide. 7 best camera gear for travel & items. i'd love this to be, what is in camera bag. Instead of thinking sony fx3 vs bmpcc 4k or sony fx3 vs bmpcc 6k pro footage. Then think of the perfect camera. This is the best camera for videography, and also the best camera for filmmaking.

7 Camera's & Gear I Want for 2022

Some of these 7 things are cheap, some are expensive

and at least one of them is a dream that most likely is never going to happen, but lets hope so.

#1 More Quick release plates.
I Just purchased these Quick Release Plates from Falcam 38 and they have changed everything for me.

I seriously used to twist and turn all my cameras on their mounts, and it was very tiresome, and sometimes even made me "not" want to go use my cameras.

They are worth every penny, even though they are quite expensive

#2 a fix for my USB-situation.

So i have a set amount of USB-plugs in my computer.

Except the two at the top, on the back they are all marked with blue color for USB 3.0, which means they should theoretically be very fast

4.8 Gigabit per second which is 600 Megabyte of transfer per second.

But, for the life of me, i have cant get more than 38-40 Megabyte per second, which is not even at the limit of USB 2.0 (which is a 60 megabyte per second)

So i am thinking of acquiring a thunderbolt or USB 3.2 card for my PCI slot, to try and fix this.

If you have a fix, please let me know.
#3 A lens for my Sony A6600 ORRR

I have not been using my A6600 for anything but filming myself.

I currently have the Sigma 16mm 1.4 lens, and i really think this camera is very underrated.

I have an old Nikon D5300 we use as our "familycamera" for taking pictures. But i was thinking of upgrading with a 50 mill for taking photos aswell.

Or really splurging and finally getting a full frame camera for photos. More specifically i was looking at the Sony A7C for the best value for the price i think.

#4 A Drone

I have just taken my drone certification, and this means that i now have to own a drone?

I am still not quite sure, i just took the test because it was about $5 and i just wanted to see if i could pass the test. I did, it was very easy

#5 Headphones for monitoring
I currently have some old mono headphones from Skullcandy, that honestly should go on retirement.
I Just bought Presonus 3.5 small active studio monitors, but i really need some great headphones for editing in details and monitoring.

I am most likely going to buy Beyerdynamic DT-770 Pro, because they are not very expensive, and the reviews of these headphones for editing seems like a great buy.

#6 Stabilization
As we go down the list, my budget is running dry. But i have been wondering if 2022 is the year to invest in a gimbal or glidecam for me.

The thing is am mainly using a blackmagic pocket 4k, and they are reportedly very horrible to stabilize, and you have to have a quite expensive gimbal.

This leads perfectly up to what i want for number 7.

#7 Sonymagic FX-Pocket 4K Camera.

I am dreaming of a serious collaboration by Sony and Blackmagic, or even Sony to acquire Blackmagic.

Imagine a camera in the size and shape of a Sony FX3, maybe a tiny bit bulkier, so its more like a square.

But not as wide and stupid-shaped as the Blackmagic 4k and 6k.

With BRAW and Prores Raw from blackmagic and the image quality from Blackmagic.

It could be a full frame or super 35, i dont care about that one. I think the tiny sensor in the bmpcc4k is wonderful and even the super16 sensor from the Blackmagic Original is also fantastic.

I could use them to "grab" som more light though, but Super35 would suffice especially for videos.

It does only have to be 4K or maybe 4.6K like the ursa g2, so there is option for reframing.

And also with the gyro, ibis and autofocus from Sony (which you could turn off if you wanted to)

And then Sony could also have the Sony lens mount (to get something out of it), i dont think a collab would give us a Canon lens mount.

But the most important thing.

I want a blackmagic menu-system on a Sony camera, with 180degree shutter angle, and the same ease of use like the menu on a BMPCC4K

Besides lacking BRAW, i think the biggest flaw of Sony, is their menus are outdated by atleast a decade.

And the gift above all, could be internal ND's .. just, i really want that..
