Unknown stranger caught trying to open our door with Ring doorbell

Who is this? Not sure why someone would come up to our door without ringing the doorbell and try to see if the door was unlocked. As soon as she saw the camera she left without knocking or ringing to see if anyone was home. Clip submitted to local police and a report was given.
Video captured at 12:36pm 4/18/16. This was 10 minutes after we left our home.
