Celtic Women of Ireland singing Isle Of Hope ~ Live

This song has a beautiful story to it... As Chloe begins to tell the story, the other girls shortly join her. With a bagpipe intro it follows with a story of when the Irish first came to the United States for the very first time.

With the mention of A young Irish girl who's name was Annie Moore. Annie was the first passenger registered through the now world-famous immigration station when Ellis Island officially opened in January 1892. Just 15-years old, Annie traveled with her two younger brothers, Anthony and Phillip, from Queenstown (the town now known as Cobh) in County Cork, Ireland on the S.S. Nevada. All three children would soon be reunited with their parents, who were already living in New York City.

These girls take my breath away with each performance. I hope you enjoy as much as I do.
