His family is of Kurdish origin.[3] Deniz's family is originally from Ağrı but he was born in Ankara and grew up in Aydın. He is the nephew of a famous traditional Kurdish singer named Şakiro [tr]. He started acting during his highschool years itself in theater plays, which he wrote himself and attended local amateur theater clubs. He performed his first orchestra work in 1985 in Aydın. In 1988 he moved to Istanbul and in 1998 to Germany to pursue a music career. He was discovered by a group of producers in Munich, Germany. Deniz‘ debut album Ağlattın Beni was released in 1992. With the album Meleğim released in 1993, he became well known. In 1994, he released his album Beyaz Kelebeğim. In 1994, he acted in the film 'Ona Sevdiğimi Söyle' directed by Memduh Ün. After his military service he released another album called Yalan mı in 1997 and started acting in the TV series Yalan mı in the same year. In 1999, he starred in another TV series called Aşkın Dağlarda Gezer which he wrote himself too. In 2002, he had the leading role in the very popular TV series Asmalı Konak. Deniz both directed and wrote the screenplay for the film Ya Sonra? in 2011.[4]

On 13 July 2012, Enver married Birkan Sokullu.[3] On 27 August 2015, they made a statement through their lawyers and announced their divorce.

In 2015, she became close to her Kardeşim Benim costar, Murat Boz, with whom she started a relationship in 2016. The couple broke up in May 2017.[6] After a few months of reconciliation, they eventually ended their relationship in April 2018. In November 2018, they announced their reconciliation after 8 months of separation.[7] However, they broke up again in October 2019.[8]

Dolunay Soysert[9] and Nilay Sorgüven[10] are among her close friends.

In May 2020, she confirmed that she had been diagnosed with dyslexia at a young age.[11]

Enver was born on 10 May 1984, in London, England, and lived there until she was 12 years old.[3] Her father is a Turkish Cypriot who grew up in London and met and married Enver's mother there, while she was abroad for her studies.[3] As a teenager, Aslı Enver won a song contest in London. She started theatre at Mujdat Gezen Art Centre in Istanbul. She studied at Pera Fine Arts High School and graduated in theatre studies from Haliç University.[4] She had her first minor-guest role in Uzay Sitcomu. Later, she had a part in the TV series Hayat Bilgisi and played the main character "Mine Ergun" in the popular youth series Kavak Yelleri (a remake of Dawson's Creek) for five seasons. She has acted in the movies Tamam mıyız? and Kardeşim Benim and starred in the TV series Suskunlar, Kayıp, Bana Artık Hicran De, Mutlu Ol Yeter and Kış Güneşi.[5]

Özdemir was born on 26 February 1992 as the youngest of 3 children of her parents. She moved to Istanbul with her mother and siblings after her parents' divorce, when she was 7 years old.[2][3]

Her grandmother is Bulgarian Turk. She immigrated from Bulgaria to Turkey. Her grandmother and her brother later immigrated to Germany [4][5]

Initially, she was a backup dancer for Bengü and later joined the dance group of Efes Kızları.[6] Özdemir then appeared on Mustafa Sandal's music video "Ateş Et ve Unut"[7] and soon was cast in Fox's new series Sana Bir Sır Vereceğim alongside her first partner Ekin Koç, portraying the character of "Aylin" with electric power.

Later she portrayed the character of "Ayla" on Kurt Seyit ve Şura, and got a role as "Demet" in the movie Tut Sözünü. She then played the character of "Aslı" on Star TV's series Çilek Kokusu. Özdemir also appeared in Bengü's music video "Hodri Meydan".[8]

From 2018 to 2019, she played the lead role "Sanem" in the Turkish romantic comedy series Erkenci Kuş (Early Bird) opposite Can Yaman.[9] She received the Best Actress award at the 2019 Murex d'Or in Lebanon for her role in this series.[10]

In November 2019 she became a brand ambassador for Pantene Turkey.[11]

Özdemir is currently playing the lead role "Zeynep" in Doğduğun Ev Kaderindir (My Home, My Destiny) opposite İbrahim Çelikkol. The series is produced by OG Medya, directed by Çağrı Bayrak and premiered on TV8 on 25 December 2019. The script is inspired by Dr. Gülseren Budayıcıoğlu’s novel Camdaki Kız.[12]
