Clear skies and sunshine will be the picture for the majority of central and southern England and Wales. Northern England as well as eastern and central Scotland should see some sunshine in the late morning before this increases as we go into the afternoon. North and west Scotland as well as Northern Ireland to remain cloudy throughout this period, with the cloud thick enough to bring some patchy rain at times.
