Of course we have all seen the ads: people doing incredible fun stuff and always capturing those perfect and unforgettable moments in glorious high definition and super steady, crispy clear slow motion...so we went and bought a GoPro...or if you are like me you went and have purchased at least one or two of each version.
needless to say, I love GoPros. every year (sometimes every 6 months) they release a new version with more bells and whistles that we dont really need, bt we definitely want. So far the hero 7 is my weapon of choice, dont get me wrong, the 8 and the max are absolutely incredible but my wallet says NOT YET. With each version the initial setup keeps getting qicker and simpler, much simpler. gone are the days that you used to HAVE TO connect an sd card to your computer, download the software, put the sd card back in the gopro, and hope it did what it was supposed to and update after a series of turning itself on and off etc.now all you need is your iphone or even can set it up manually thanks to the later versions having a fully functional tiny touchscreen (thank GOD)
So my friend and I purchased brand new hero seven cameras at just about the same time, we both live very busy lives, so instead of trying to schedule a FaceTime call and walking her through the process of activating it, I decided to make this video for her as well as anyone out there who just needs that little bit of extra confidence to get a go pro hero camera set up, let me know if you have any questions and if I can help in anyway, for all of you who are not super tech savvy or have the patience to figure it out, or you simply don't want that feeling in the back of your head that you're going to mess something up, I'm here for you.
