BuildingNY: William & Arthur Zeckendorf

Building New York, a lively conversation hosted by Michael Stoler, New York's only weekly television broadcast featuring local and national leaders responsible for real estate activities in the Metropolitan region, began its first season on television and on CUNY TV in March 2006. The program provides insight to the latest news, developments and economic trends. The guests will be able to share their thoughts and personal experience on important real estate issues in the largest real estate community in the world.

On this episode of Building NY, Host Michael Stoler sits down with William and Arthur Zeckerndorf, highly influential names within real estate development and investment. The Zeckerndorf name is associated with large real estate deals and many projects throughout New York City from the early 1940's to the present. On this episode, the Zeckerndorf brothers talk about their childhood exposure to real estate from their father and grandfather, the growth of the Zeckerndorf name within real estate, as well as the many projects the Zeckerndorf family has taken on. These projects include Battery Park City and 515 Park Avenue, among others.
