35 - The Story Of The Pied Piper | The Sarah Jane Adventures (Fan Soundtrack)

Growing up as a kid in the 2000s, The Sarah Jane Adventures was my favorite kids' show - it was perfect and still holds a special place in my heart. Sam Watts' music for the series is deeply emotional and evocative, and I’ve always wished the BBC had released an official soundtrack.

Thankfully, composer Sam Watts has shared suites of his music over the past 15+ years on his SoundCloud and website. YouTubers like @Legoguyproductions1 and @doctorwhoniverse107 saw this and reuploaded them to YouTube, making them more accessible. There was also an unofficial CD auctioned at the 10th anniversary event.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of New Who, I created a "fake" soundtrack for The Sarah Jane Adventures - designed to evoke something the BBC could have officially released themselves. Most of the music comes direct from Sam Watts, but huge credit goes to @Legoguyproductions1 and @doctorwhoniverse107 for archiving and sharing them.

I’ve normalized the track volumes to match standard album levels, as the originals were mixed for TV. This project is my tribute to the Whoniverse and a gift to the fandom.
