Wow, was this a big disappointment! I purchased this blade to cut up old carpet being removed from the floor. I previously used a hook blade in my utility knife, and although it worked okay, I thought that this would be much faster, since I have a lot of carpet to cut and remove as part of this remodel. I was surprised that this blade didn’t cut through ANY of the carpet. Not one inch. At first I thought that there was something wrong with my multi-tool, but upon closer examination, I found that the blade was not only dull, but had never even been sharpened. I don’t know if they are all that way, or I got one that came off of the assembly line when the sharpening guy was on vacation. Either way, DeWalt really dropped the ball on this design. What should have been a great product with a lot of potential turned out to be a waste of money and time.
