THE RESCUE OF KO JAROEN 2 | Putting Out a Burning Ferry

In the early morning hours of April 4th 2024 a passenger cargo ferry on-route from Suratthani to Koh Tao caught fire as it was getting closer to its destination. Local rescue efforts were dispatched and the fire was finally brought under control thanks to heroic efforts by many individuals.

A young burmese boy is still missing after jumping into the water during the fire. Our hopes are with him and his family.
