BOSS SD-1 Super Overdrive - Why Buy Boutique When Boss Makes Pedals This Good?

Boss have just released the 40th Anniversary SD-1 Super OverDrive Pedal. Boss sent this to me to review and I'm blown away with how great this sounds especially as it only costs £69 for the anniversary edition or £59 for the standard version. The Boss SD-1 Anniversary edition is exactly the same as the standard edition apart from the reverse colours. In this video, I compare this great overdrive pedal to a Ibanez Tube screamer and a Xotic Effects BB Preamp. The Studio Rats are core band members Paul Drew on guitar/production/mixing, drummer James Ivey and Dan Hawkins on bass. They collaborate with singers and musicians to produce radio-ready songs.
