Evergreen actor Anil Kapoor’s story has to be heard to be believed. It’s a story filled with struggle, hard work & dedication that led to his super success for more than 4 decades. At 65+, there are roles written for the versatile actor even today.

Born in a ‘filmy’ family, Anil always wanted to be an actor. He failed the Film Institute admission test but that didn’t deter him from pursuing his dream. Graduating from a spotboy in his father’s production to smaller roles in films, he impressed several filmmakers with his passion, energy & enthusiasm. Soon his brother Boney Kapoor decided to launch him in ‘Woh 7 Din’, the remake of a Tamil film. And the rest, as they say is history.

SCREEN LEGENDS – Anil Kapoor Part 1 reveals the story of the fabulous actor, covering his life from birth to his struggling days to his first flush of success with ‘Mashaal’, ‘Mohabbat’ & ‘Meri Jung’. The episode also features an interesting anecdote narrated by Boney Kapoor himself regarding the difficulties he went through before buying the re-making rights of ‘Woh 7 Din’. It’s a must-watch episode for all fans of the ‘Jhakaas’ actor.
