World Road Cycling Championships 2003 - Hamburger, Bettini, Van Petegem, Astarloa in winning group

The 2003 Road World Championships took place in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada on 12 of October. 21 laps, 260 kilometres.

The cource didn't have alot of climbs, so it was hard to make a selection. But a powerfull group still managed to get a way on the last lap. The group containt Paolo Bettini, Michael Boogerd, Igor Astarloa, Peter Van Petegem and danish rider Bo hamburger. The winner had to be found in this group.
