Minutes from car production: dashboard assembly

What’s one of the first parts to be installed in every Škoda? As you can see with the Kodiaq in this video, it’s the entire dashboard! Then, the rest of the car is built around it. This is because it’s a huge piece – including the instrument panel, infotainment display, glove compartment, and more – so we wouldn’t be able to fit it in later in the production process.
