I Am Joaquin, Yo Soy Joaquín (1967) Full Version
This is the full version of the film (parts one and two) with basic remastering. Rodolfo "Corky" Gonzalez authored the poem, and this film was made by Teatro Campesino shortly thereafter. Images and music were created by Luis and Daniel Valdez; Luis Valdez narrated this piece.
Rolando Hinojosa-Smith gave a presentation about the relationship between the text and the film in Los Angeles in 1982, at the MLA's annual meeting. His presentation was published a year later in Bilingual Review/La Revista Bilingüe. Citation:
