Is it really necessary for a coach to watch every step of an athlete and where will this fast development of technology lead to? Patrick Eibenberger will explore this question in his talk “Big (data) wave problems: Athletes’ future is transparent”. Patrick Eibenberger is Strength and Conditioning Coach for the German Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach, who focuses on sports performance. He studied sports science and communication science with a focus on interpersonal communication at the University of Salzburg. After graduating from university, Patrick decided to become a performance coach, working at the Red Bull Academy in Ghana. The last six years he spent in Salzburg working with both, the youth squads (2013-2017) as well as with the professional football team (2017-2019) of FC Red Bull Salzburg.
